This mural was painted by the Visions Crew. This mural, titled “Leprechauns Vs. Goblins” was restored as part of the Boyle Heights Mural Pilot Program. This shows the mural how it looked after the restoration in 2005. The Leprechauns represent the Vision Crew and the Goblins represent their doubters and detractors. The Leprechauns are blessed with cunning and skill as well as magic powers and the latest weapons and tools. They have a pot of gold and are shown protecting it. All of the artists who worked on the mural have incorporated their names into various sections of the mural. You might be able to make out: Keo, Flex, Sex, Scud, Kater, Spice, Wram, Metal, Ekura and Dysple. The Goblins, on the other hand are depicted as ugly brutes with outdated tools. They are attempting to harm the Leprechauns by hurtling balls of fire and other weapons at them. ICU Art oversaw the mural restoration and currently maintains this mural on Cesar Chavez Ave, and N. Savannah Street in Boyle Heights.
