The “scenic graffiti” shown was painted all by one artist named Eric “Cre8” Walker as a backdrop for interviews for a documentary film called “Made in America.” Directed by Stacy Peralta, this film documents the history of the African American gangs in Los Angeles. Starting with a blank wall, South Central Los Angeles artist, Cre8, created the look of a “naturally” vandalized wall that one might see in South Central L.A. Using a wide range of specific styles, Cre8 used fictional gang names and street monikers to create an authentic looks in a few hours.
